Smart Casual Vol. 01

Hi Nomad!

Have you ever been in a situation where you had to make a good first impression? I’m pretty sure all of us has. First impressions are quite tricky and sometimes we unknowingly tend to pressure ourselves by thinking too much. And, you just can’t help it because it’s an image people tend to associate you with.

The most common style that we have trouble dressing up for is when we get an invitation for “Smart Casual” activities. So we, decided to create a series just dedicated to it.

Here’s a clean and polished look that is both smart and casual —

Start off with a white button down (smart) matched with a good pair of slim fit denim jeans (casual). Get it? For footwear, loafers are the best since they not only look good but are comfortable to wear too.

Have your accessories complement each other. You can choose to wear a tie with a simple print to give some contrast. A bold watch can help you give your look more attitude.

Most importantly, your key accessory would be confidence. Have that and you won’t have to worry about anything else.

Think of what you feel most comfortable about yourself with and bring that to the table. It’s about knowing who you are. Don’t be afraid to share it with the world.

How would you want your first impression to last, Nomad?

White Button Down (Cotton On), Slim Fit Denim Jeans (Uniqlo), Loafers (Dexter Shoes), Watch (TW Steel), Tie (Tie Line), Belt (Folded & Hung), Sunglasses (Ray-Ban), Mobile Phone (Apple – iPhone6)
