Hi Nomad, how have things been going? There are a lot of new things happening  around and we thought of trying one of those activities, specifically glamping.

Glamping by definition is infusing the glamour into camping. It’s now an emerging trend for people who want to take a dive into the outdoors without sacrificing much of the comfort. Think about it, you get to camp in the wilderness in an already made up tent complete with a mattress/bed (depending on the campsite) mostly complete with amenities such as a clean shower, towel and running water. Some sites even offer butler servicing to their guests.

The tent setup should be able to accommodate the number of people that plan on staying. At night you can all go around the campfire, watch the stars and make smores. It’s something good to experience with friends, family or that special someone.

What do you think about the idea of camping out in the woods without having to sacrifice comfort? Sounds like a good deal to us so we decided to pack up for the weekend ready for our own glamping experience.

Packing light we threw on a simple tee, shorts and sneakers for comfort. To prepare ourselves for the unpredictable weather, we brought a cap and jacket too.   We were drawn to keeping our outfit in earth tones to feel more connected to nature. Check out our final look and some photos from the trip –
